Yeah, we are having more bad bush-fires, heat waves, floods, droughts and storms than ever before. The Great Barrier Reef is nearly dead, there's no snow anymore and our wildlife is dying.
They say a war is brewing because some countries have hardly any water or food. There are heaps of refugees too because the sea levels are rising so much.
Gees, I am depressed. What also hurts a lot is that people knew decades ago this was going to happen - and they did nothing about it.

But I don't know about this yet because it's 2009 and I am only 12 months old, but this could be my future.
Dear Diary.
Today is my 21st birthday. I am depressed and don't know what to do. The world is crazy. It scares me. It is a stinking hot day here, about 40o C, just like it has been for almost a month. There's bush-fires all around - Dad's out fighting them, I hope he's alright.
